Hi,

Does anyone know about of there is any known Open Source project that's
utilizing Spice/KVM ?

I know about RHEV for Desktops, but I don't like the Windows
requirement.

Hi,

have you checked https://fedorahosted.org/ovirt ? As far as I can see it's using libvirt for vm configuration. So maybe there might be also support for spice in the future.
I haven't heard about anything "free" more promising than this.

Hi,

I'm working on a Open Source Project (not published yet) with SPICE.
Now, I have a python server to control the VM's and a PyGtk client to
access the VMs using SPICE. The server capabilities are limited for
while. If you would like to try, mail me.

Pahim

Hello.

My project is called OSDVT (OpenSource Desktop Virtualization
Technology). I know, this is not a good name, but...
This is a very very embrionary project and I'm working alone until
now. And yes, I need help.
You can download draft guide here:
http://www.pahim.org/osdvt_installation_guide-0.1.pdf
There is a lot of missing capabilities, but I have a working code. I
hope can publish the code soon to ask for more help.
More details, please join the new group I've created:
http://groups.google.com/group/osdvt

Thank you for your interest and sorry spice-devel list for this off-topic.

Regards,
Amador Pahim

Yes, I've found and tried ovirt. Ovirt does not yet support Spice, and it does not have a Broker
function. (that I've found. :)
